Dr Govindprasad Mantri is a maxillofacial head and neck surgeon by profession having experience from TATA Memorial hospital Mumbai, and Seven Hills Hospital , Visakhapatnam. His main area of interest is prevention and early detection of oral cancer. He is the recipient of the Asia Book of records and India Book of records for anti-tobacco awareness campaigns. He is the member of Maharashtra Cancer Warriors that is offering voluntary oncology services in 24 district hospitals of Maharashtra. He is associated withSambandh Health Foundation and the Voice of tobacco Victims campaign. He has conducted sensitization program for the Members of Parliament and Legislative assemblies that galvanized policy makers on cancer prevention and early detection. He is a Past president of Rotary Jalgaon East. He was twice invited as chairperson at The UAE Cancer Congress. He has conducted training for police officers regarding COTPA law implementation. He is the Founder and Executive Director of SECOND OPINION CLINICs
